Call for Artsits- Borneo Visual Art Exhibition

Event being held at the

Labuan International Sea Sports Complex

29th April - May 2009

Labuan Visual Art Association is organising an art exhibition and sale in conjunction with Labuan International Sea Challenge 2009 0n 29th April until the end of May 2009.

The event has been designed to encourage local artists of Borneo to come together to enjoy each other’s work and to exhibit their work to the general public.

If you wish to exhibit, your entry needs to be in by 25 April  2009 to ensure your place in the exhibition.

After Labuan, the entire exhibition might be transferred to BSLN in Kuala Lumpur (which is still in the phase of negotiation). The artists will be notified about this option in due course.

All Submissions:

Theme "MARINE"

with 3" x 4" format (minimum size)

on Canvas etc.

Original and latest artwork.

PLEASE SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING WITH YOUR ARTIST’S RESUMES:

a. Up to one (1) page biography. Please include your name, address, phone, website(if applicable) and e-mail.

b. A resume (no more than three pages) that includes your art education, exhibitions, awards, and bibliography.

c. A written proposal narrative, not to exceed two pages.
